Oh oh. Jennifer Lips at Superbowl. But Dont They All???

Hudson's manager, Damien Smith, confirms to EW's Simon Vozick-Levinson that Hudson used a pre-recorded backing vocal track at Super Bowl organizers' request. "Any time you perform the pre-game event, you're required to give them backing tracks," says Smith. "It's nothing out of the norm. [But] it definitely was Jennifer singing live -- that was her voice."

Now is that dissapointing, or because of the tragedy, she should be able to sing with a backing track. Well, singers are definately not always perfect as they come accross....

2009 Grammies Near....Entertainment Weekly Take Their Picks

With the Grammies only being around the corner. the anticipation is rising. Entertainment weekly have released their picks. Who do you think will win.
What better palate cleanser for this film-centric awards-show season than...a music-centric awards show? As the Feb. 8 Grammy Awards near, we offer our coulds, shoulds, and would you mind placing this bet for me, Mr. Bookie? picks in a few categories.
Record of the Year Should Win M.I.A.'s ''Paper Planes'' was inescapable last year (bonus points for appearing in Slumdog Millionaire!), but it's probably too raw for the Academy's gray-ponytail voters. Will Win Grammy catnip Coldplay's ''Viva La Vida'' — though don't be surprised if Leona Lewis' pop pinnacle ''Bleeding Love'' steals it.
Album of the Year Should Win Ne-Yo's Year of the Gentleman is lovely but lightweight; to see lyrical genius/bona fide kook Lil Wayne accept for Tha Carter III would be bananas. Will Win ¡Viva La Coldplay! But don't count out Robert Plant and Alison Krauss' critically acclaimed Raising Sand — Herbie Hancock won here last year with a set of Joni Mitchell covers.
Song of the Year Should Win It would be great to see this songwriting award go to Estelle's ''American Boy,'' an irresistible cross-continental booty call featuring Kanye West. Will Win Jason Mraz's ''I'm Yours'' is technically several years old, and Sara Bareilles' ''Love Song'' is too rom-com-montage ready. That leaves Adele's excellent ''Chasing Pavements'' and (ta-da!) ''Viva La Vida.'' Take your pick.
Best New Artist Should Win Smoky-throated Lauryn Hill soundalike Jazmine Sullivan has the voice; maybe next time she'll have the sales, too. Will Win Adele trumps the tween-dreamy Jonas Brothers' commercial pull, unless voters split for Duffy's ersatz-Winehouse charms.
Best Rock Album Should Win The Raconteurs' muscular, raucous Consolers of the Lonely trumps perfectly adequate sets from Kid Rock, Metallica, et al. Will Win It starts with ''Cold'' and ends with ''play,'' friends.

Oprah, Tyler Perry, Lionsgate Behind Push Distribution

Oprah Wants to Purchase Push. WOW. WOW. WOW......

Commented Winfrey, "I've never seen anything like it. The moment I saw PUSH: BASED ON THE NOVEL BY SAPPHIRE, I knew I wanted to do whatever I could to encourage other people to see this movie. The film is so raw and powerful - it split me open." Added Perry, "I am honored to join Oprah Winfrey and Lionsgate in releasing Lee Daniels' exceptional film. I was immensely moved by PUSH: BASED ON THE NOVEL BY SAPPHIRE, and wanted to do whatever I could to help others share in its redemptive experience. Lionsgate is the ideal studio to shepherd this artistically courageous film to market."

Lets hope they promote the most of it.....Good news for Lee Daniels....

Jessica Simpson fat reports "Disgusting", says Ashlee

Im sure everyone has heard about the FAT comments towards jessica Simpson. People can be so cruel. Its one thing saying she has no talent but fat, no. SINGER Ashlee Simpson says she is "disgusted" by media outlets and bloggers who reported on her famous big sister Jessica's fuller new figure.Writing on her MySpace blog, Ashlee said the comments were "embarrassing and belittling to all women". Well i do agree it isnt very nice at all. Poor jessica, will they ever give her a break.

Jennifer Hudson is Bacccckkkk

Jenny did her thing at the Superbowl, with a great, great redemption of the Superbowl. She belted till the cows came home, and there was not a dry eye in the house. Go Jenny, welcome back to stardom. Heres the link for anyone who missed it.
